Rollins: I Would Go Through Styles To Get To HBK

WWE's Architect Seth Rollins is always looking for a fight and, usually, comes out on top. His current conquest for the WWE Universal Championship has him motivated, for now, but Rollins has a dream match in mind to cement his legacy as the very best of his generation.

There's been speculation since BOOM! unveiled an AJ Styles/Shawn Michaels Royal Rumble cover that HBK would be coming back soon to face off the Phenomenal One is a dream match. Michaels as since denied those rumors, but Rollins had some words about both men on the Gorilla Position Podcast.

"If he's ever coming out of retirement it better be at WrestleMania. Kudos to AJ for giving it a shot but he can take a backseat," Rollins said. "I would like that match before he gets his hands on Shawn. A lot of people would pay good money to see Shawn and AJ." Rollins then said he would gladly take on Styles to get to Michaels.

Rollins continued with what kind of wrestler he sees himself as and feels he could give a great match with both of these men. "I've always fancied myself as the guy who can do it all pretty well. I don't see myself in the ring as a high flyer or brawler or technical guy, but I feel I can do everything, work with everybody, and bring out the best in different people." Not comparing himself to Michaels and his legacy was something he tried to avoid saying, but said he saw a lot of himself in the WWE Hall of Famer as he could work with anybody. "I've always prided myself on doing different types of matches with different opponents."

Rollins doesn't necessarily see HBK coming out of retirement anytime soon, but now that the gauntlet has been thrown, do you think AJ or Micheals would be down for such an endeavor? Who would you like to see face Shawn Micheals more: AJ Styles or Seth Rollins?
