Sons of Anarchy is over. Ever since the finale in 2014, fans of the much beloved series have been asking and petitioning for the show to return, but according to actor Kim Coates, the show came to the end, and "it's over."

It's a question he gets a lot, Coates told ComicBook.com. "Kurt Sutter did an amazing job at wrapping that baby up in seven years, 92 episodes, just the way he and President of FX, John Landgraf wanted it."

Even Coates agreed that the show ended right when it needed to. "I think the show got ultra-violent at the end. I don't even know who we were killing anymore in that show. I am so thankful that during the course of the show that there was enough for me to do and the rest of the cast to do. I loved it all the way to the end."

Even though the main show might be over, Sons Of Anarchy fans can get their fix in a number of ways. Just recently it was announced that a spin-off show is starting it's engines focusing on the Mayans Motor Club. The show is to be produced by Sons Of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter and Elgin James. While the show won't feature the established favorites, fans can expect a "dark, visceral family drama that takes a new look at the most American of icons, the 1% outlaw, this time reflected through a Latino lens," according to Sutter.

And then for those looking for something that features the characters they've come to love, a comic book prequel will be hitting store shelves from BOOM! Studios. Sons of Anarchy: Redwood Original, and is written by Ollie Masters with input from Kurt Sutter. Redwood Original stars Jax Teller at 18 years old and depicts his struggle with his father JT's legacy and his initial dealings with the Sons of Anarchy motorcycle club, including his stepfather Clay.

So what do you think Sons Of Anarchy fans? Are you still holding out hope?
