While touring a safari park in China on Saturday, a female tourist was mauled to death by a tiger and another woman was seriously injured after getting out of their vehicle in the middle of the tiger enclosure. Surveillance footage captured the tragic incident at the safari park in the Badaling section of the Great Wall.

The two visitors in the front seats of a white sedan reportedly got into an argument while driving through the park, and came to a complete stop. Next the woman is seen getting out of the car on the passenger side and walking around to the driver's door. As she is standing outside the driver's side door, the tiger suddenly attacks her from behind and drags her away.

The man in the driver's seat immediately jumps out of the car and chases after them, but retreats back towards the vehicle. A female in the back seat of the car also jumps out in an attempt to rescue the first woman, but the authorities say that she was killed by another tiger, according to NBC News.

The first woman dragged away by a tiger was not killed, but was badly mauled and sustained serious injuries.

Park workers were seen on the footage arriving to the scene within seconds, but were too late to save the victim from the tiger attack.

The park prohibits passengers from exiting their vehicles, and to keep the car doors locked and windows fully closed while on the tour.

The driver and another child who were in the vehicle were reportedly unharmed.

The park has had serious safety issues even before this most recent tiger attack. In March, a park employee was killed by an elephant, and a security guard was killed by a tiger in 2014, according to the New York Times.
