Gotham Renewed For Season Three

Jim Gordon, The Penguin, and the rest will be back for at least one more year, as Gotham series star Ben McKenzie announced to Twitter today that the series has been renewed for a third season.
The series, which also stars Deadpool's Morena Baccarin, hails from executive producer Bruno Heller and has been one of FOX's breakout hits the last couple of years. It centers on a young Bruce Wayne immediately following the death of his parents, and the culture around the Gotham City Police Department while supervillains start to take hold and Detective James Gordon begins his ascent to Commissioner.
Gotham airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.
Supergirl, which airs in the same time slot at CBS and also adapts DC Comics source material, has a renewal commitment as well -- and Arrow, The Flash, iZombie, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow have already secured renewals at The CW. This leaves only Lucifer's fate to be decided.
