Nintendo's September Amiibo Releases Include 30th Anniversary Mario And More

Nintendo will release a new line of amiibo figures this September, featuring more of the game company's most iconic characters.

Sept. 11 wills the release of more fan-favorite characters from the Super Smash Bros. including Zero Suit Samus, Ganondorf and Bowser Jr. There's also a special Super Mario Bros. 30th anniversary series Mario amiibo based Mario's 8-bit appearance in the original Super Mario Bros., which will be compatible with the Super Mario Maker on Wii U, also launching Sept. 11.

Sept. 25 will see the release of a Retro 3 Pack, which includes R.O.B., Duck Hunt and Mr. Game & Watch amiibo figures from the Super Smash Bros.

The previously announced Mii Fighters 3 Pack has been pushed back to November.
