The Flinstones Bedrock City In Arizona Is Up For Sale

Have you ever just wanted to escape from it all, to a place where modern annoyances like traffic, nosy neighbors, and—uh—electricity are a thing of the past?

Well, now you can yabba dabba-doo it with the Flinstones' very own city of Bedrock. Located in Williams, Arizona, a small theme park based off of the Flintstone cartoon's fictional locale is up for $2 million—or 2 million clams.

For the cool two million, the proud owner can get prehistoric with a miniature volcano, a brontosaurus slide, a RV park and convenience store, a giftshop, and more, spread across a 30-acre lot. Bedrock, which opened in 1972, has been owned by the same family since its inception.

""My mother is 73 and she and my father built that business," Holly Hulen, the property owner's daughter, told ABC News. "My father passed away over 20 years ago. She's been running it herself, and she's ready to retire. She's ready to enjoy her grandkids and not worry about managing a business."

Not included with the park, however, is the license agreement between Flinstone owners Hanna Barbera and the Hulen family. Whoever bought the park would have to re-neogiate with the famed cartoon company for opportunities to monetize the Flinstones brand, according to Hulen.

Would you splurge $2 million on Bedrock? It may seem like a lot now, but just think of it as an investment for when the inevitable live-action reboot film is announced. Either way, let us know in the comments.
