New Arrow Clip Finally Reveals A Series-Long Mystery

Arrow fans are no strangers to unfolding mysteries, and even this year the producers have slowly unveiled how Olicity came apart at the seams. That doesn't hold a candle to the five-season long mystery that they've kept hidden involving the fan favorite Deathstroke.

Back in the show's first episode, fans could see Slade Wilson's mask being held on a stick on the beach. The right eye had an arrow through it, signifying the coming battle between the two what would see Oliver stab Wilson in the eye with a knife. What no one knew though was how the mask got there and why. That's now been revealed in a new clip from tonight's episode (via CBR).

It shows Oliver and Anatoly walking up the beach when Oliver spots something in the rubble. He takes an arrow out of the box they're carrying and reveals it is Slade's mask. Anatoly says "that's a bad omen". Oliver replies "It's just washed up on the shore like some kind of sign," then sticks the arrow through the eye and on the stick, continuing their journey further inland. You can watch the entire clip above.

The clip will appear in tonight's episode titled "Honor Thy Father's", and you can view the synopsis for it below.

Oliver (Stephen Amell) returns to the mayor's office and faces one of his most pressing issues yet – the forced release of dozens of violent criminals prosecuted by Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra). Meanwhile, a crate is delivered to Oliver's office containing a mysterious corpse encased in concrete.

Laura Belsey directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Sarah Tarkoff. You can check out "Honor Thy Fathers" preview images in our gallery below.
