Arrow: Stephen Amell Wants A Rematch Against The Reverse Flash

The DCTV Universe has amassed a huge number of antagonists across its four shows. But for Arrow's Stephen Amell, there are a few villains from his sister shows that he wishes he could go up against.

During a panel moderated by ComicBook.com's Brandon Davis at this weekend's Heroes and Villains Fan Fest Nashville, Amell revealed which The Flash villains he would like Oliver Queen to go toe-to-toe with - in one case, for a second time.

"King Shark would be fun." Amell explained. "No actually, I think that some iteration of Harrison Wells, the evil version would be pretty awesome to deal with. I like him. He's smart."

Oliver already faced off against Eobard Thawne/Reverse Flash (Tom Cavanagh, back when Eobard had adopted Harrison Wells' identity) in the penultimate episode of The Flash's first season. Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) had enlisted the help of Oliver - who had recently adopted his Al Sah-Him persona - and Ronnie Raymond/Firestorm (Robbie Amell), in one of the season's most noteworthy sequences.

While Eobard (later played by Matt Letscher) was essentially wiped out from the DCTV universe in this year's Legends of Tomorrow season finale, there's always a chance that he could return. And if he does, it's good to know that Barry or the Legends could call on Oliver to help.

Arrow's newest season debuts on a new night on Thursday, October 12th, at 9/8c on The CW.

Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti ("The Flash," "Supergirl"), Marc Guggenheim ("DC's Legends of Tomorrow," "Eli Stone"), Wendy Mericle ("Desperate Housewives," "Eli Stone"), Andrew Kreisberg ("The Flash," "Eli Stone," "Warehouse 13") and Sarah Schechter ("The Flash," "DC's Legends of Tomorrow").

Supergirl premieres on Monday, October 9th at 8 pm, while The Flash debuts on Tuesday, October 10 at 8 pm. Legends of Tomorrow moves to Tuesdays this Fall, airing right after The Flash on October 10. On Thursday, October 12 at 9 pm Arrow will premiere to round out the DC roster.
