Arrow Season 6 To Explore Diggle's Unresolved Issues According To David Ramsey

If you happen to be a fan of John Diggle and his complicated life on Team Arrow, then Season Six will likely be the season you've been waiting for.

Diggle actor David Ramsey took a second to chat with ComicBook.com's Russ Burlingame at San Diego Comic-Con 2017 about what's coming in Season Six. Specifically, if any of the character's lingering issues will be addressed

Diggle absolutely has some unresolved issues with Lyla. We're going to explore that. Listen, he's a vigilante married to the leader of ARGUS who has her fingers on the pulse of the Suicide Squad. That's just good drama if you really want to go into it. That's a six-episode arc by itself. And also just in terms of how they see justice. Ya know there's a philosophy that you have to have to be the next Amanda Waller which Lyla Michaels is, and Diggle doesn't share that, and that's the 800-pound gorilla in the room in terms of their relationship, so we're going to get into that.

Ramsey wouldn't say if he survives the island or not, but alluded to the fact it wouldn't be a complete ending for the character if he did, saying, "If he had died on the island, then he would've died with unresolved issues with Lyla for sure."

Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past return to Star City, forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his "family".

Based on the characters from DC, ARROW is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti (The Flash, Supergirl), Marc Guggenheim (DC's Legends of Tomorrow, Eli Stone), Wendy Mericle (Desperate Housewives, Eli Stone), Andrew Kreisberg (The Flash, Eli Stone, Warehouse 13) and Sarah Schechter (The Flash, DC's Legends of Tomorrow).

Supergirl premieres on Monday, October 9th at 8 pm, while The Flash debuts on Tuesday, October 10th at 8 pm. Legends of Tomorrow moves to Tuesdays this Fall, airing right after The Flash on October 10th. On Thursday, October 12th at 9 pm Arrow will premiere to round out the DC roster.
