Ben Affleck Debuts His ‘Christian Bale’ Batman Voice

If you are a fan of Ben Affleck and Christian Bale, then your lucky stars aligned tonight thanks to Red Nose Day. The charity's special aired on NBC tonight and saw a slew of celebrities give their time to raise money for children around the world. As such, Affleck donated some of his spare time to answer some kids' questions in a comedy sketch, and the video sees the star give his best shot at Bale's iconic Batman voice.

However, that is not good enough for the kid. "No! Do it the way Christian Bale does it," the boy pleased.

Affleck is then seen looking a bit stressed out, but he keeps his cool. The actor then repeats his earlier phrase in a more stern tone, but not even the alteration can make the boy happy. In the end, the kid says he maybe just wants Bale to do its himself instead.

"Well, he's not available so…" Affleck trails off, ending the awkward Batman plea with a grimace. The poor guy!

Earlier this month, fans learned that Affleck would be showing off his new Batman voice to fans for the charity. In an interview with People, the actor said he was looking forward to the sketch.

"I'm doing my Batman voice," the actor told the magazine about his job. "No cowl — just the stripped-down, unplugged version."

"It's a lot of fun," Affleck continued. "Batman is such a serious, heavy character, there is the temptation to be funny about it, or at least self-aware. I really enjoy it. Obviously it is a character that means a lot to a lot of people and I'm having fun playing it."
