Ben Affleck Is Tired Of Being Asked About The Batman

The upcoming Batman movie has lots of time to marinate over at Warner Brothers, but Ben Affleck can't escape it. Recently, the acclaimed actor and director has been inundated with questions about his solo Batman movie, and it looks like Affleck has had enough. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada, Affleck was asked about the flood of comic book questions, and the actor was not afraid to share his true feelings.

"Oh my god, it's such a pain in the ass," he said. "It's like every time I mention Batman, it gets this huge clickbait. When I was doing this movie, it took me two years to get it together, but nobody ever asked me, 'Where's "Live By Night?"' You know? They ask me 'Batman, Batman, Batman.'"

Affleck continued, saying, "Batman's coming along; It's going to be great. We're going to make something really special. We're going to take the time to make it right. We're going to do it good."

In the past month, Affleck has bee promoting his latest film Live By Night. The actor has spoken with sites like IGN and others where Affleck has referenced the movie's progress. While the actor has firmly stated he's wanting to take his time with the movie, Affleck admits he's excited to see all the great things happening with Batman behind-the-scenes.

"There's great stuff in it now," he told IGN. "It just needs to get better and better."

The next time fans see Affleck don the Gotham Knight's cowl, it will be in Justice League. The iconic DC Comics character will team up with Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and The Flash for the film as they take on one of Earth's most dangerous threats.

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Ciarán Hinds, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg.
