Geoff Johns Teases Beast Boy For Live-Action Titans Series

With the news that DC is bringing the Titans to a live-action TV series, speculation immediately began regarding which characters would be joining the team. The official announcement stated that Dick Grayson would lead the show, while Starfire and Raven would also be included.

DC's Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns - who is also producing the series - has taken to Twitter to tease one other character who we can expect to see on Titans. It looks like Beast Boy will be added to the new show's cast.

After quoting the tweet with the announcement that the series was moving forward, Johns expressed his excitement for the Titans project. He talked about how much he loved his creative team, and how happy he was to be writing for the Titans again.

To end the tweet, Johns said that the show would "Be something very different." He finished the message with a simple hashtag, #BeastBoy.

While this certainly doesn't confirm Beast Boy's involvement with the show, it does make it seem like a strong possibility. There would be no reason to mention a character that had nothing to do with the series in question, so it's likely that this was just Johns' way of teasing another addition to the cast.

Along with Geoff Johns, the series is being produced by Greg Berlanti and Akiva Goldsman, and is expected to debut on DC's new streaming service in 2018.
