Ezra Miller Refuses To Sign A Marvel Comic

The Flash may have lost his director but he has not lost its roots. Star of the upcoming standalone film and Justice League movie Ezra Miller has aligned himself as DC Comics faithful, refusing to sign a Marvel Comics property for a fan.

The actor was surrounded by fans, taking pictures and signing autographs in the streets, but one particular fan asked him to sign an Agents of SHIELD poster. Miller was a bit thrown off by the request and refused to sign it, though he did offer to sign anything the else the man might have had.

"You understand why I can't sign that, right?" Miller asked. "Find me something else and I'll sign it!"

"It's so obvious that I can't sign that. I'm sorry," Miller said. The fan, however, either played dumb or genuinely had no idea why Miller refused to sign, asking him if Justice League was all part of Marvel.

"I'm DC! They're competing comic book houses," Miller said. "Yeah, I'm dead sure."

Ezra Miller's The Flash movie is currently set for release on March 16, 2018 but the departure of Rick Famuyiwa from the production may push the date back. Miller, however, has remained optimistic about the project.

On the set of Justice League, Miller's Barry Allen appeared to be a bright spot in the dark and gritty universe DC Films has established. His role brings a levity and sense of humor to the franchise which has been largely absent through Man of Steel, Batman v. Superman, and Suicide Squad.

Prior to taking on the role of Barry Allen, Miller starred in several films including Trainwreck, We Need To Talk About Kevin, and will be appearing in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them which hits theaters this weekend.
