First Look at Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo on Supergirl

Teri Hatcher, the titular Lois Lane in the '90s primetime hit Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, has finally debuted on The CW's Supergirl, and you can get a first look at her villainous character below. She was flanked by her partner-in-crime, played by Hercules: The Legendary Journeys star Kevin Sorbo.

You can see both of them in the attached image gallery.

The pair still have not been named, although the teaser trailer for next weeks' episode seems to more or less confirm a pair of popular fan theories: That they are the king and queen of Daxam, and that Mon-El is their son the prince, and not his bodyguard as he has previously claimed.

Sorbo has also previously suggested that his involvement on the show lasts for three episodes, although it's unclear if the same is true for Hatcher. Many have speculated that the actress will be this season's big bad, meaning that she could stay around on the show longer than her onscreen husband.

As we said, it's still unclear who exactly the pair will be playing on the show. Sorbo did say that the husband and wife hail "from another planet that's an arch-rival [destroyed] planet of Krypton." This has led to speculation that the pair will hail from Daxam, particularly accompanying the notion that the show's semi-resident Daxamite, Mon-El (Chris Wood), will "reveal his secrets" in the show's very near future.

That being said, it's not officially confirmed that Hatcher and Sorbo will be playing Daxamites (although the presence of so many Daxamite artifacts on Kevin Smith's episode, out in two weeks, certainly suggests as much). The show could possibly do a misdirect and really have the pair be completely different alien characters.

While this leads to a myriad of possibilities, our own theory is that the pair could be Lar and Laurel Gand, members of the Legion of Super-Heroes. In the comics, Lar Gand is the real name of Mon-El, although given the fact that Mon-El's backstory seems very different here than in the comics, it wouldn't be surprising for the series to repurpose the existing names in a slightly different way.
