Gotham Star Wants Bane To Join The Series

06/02/2017 08:39 am EDT

Over the course of Gotham's third season, many fans were hoping that the infection of Nathaniel Barnes would lead to the ultimate addition of Bane to the Batman origin series. When that didn't happen, despite the tell-tale signs, it was a bit of a letdown.

Well, fans aren't the only ones pining to see the Batman back-breaker appear on the show. One of Gotham's stars has been hoping for the very same thing.

During an interview with Dark Knight News, Jessica Lucas (Tabitha Galavan) revealed that Bane is as the top of her Gotham wishlist. When she was asked about which classic Batman villain she'd like to see on the show, the actress didn't hesitate.

"Bane! Can you imagine? I know time-wise, that may not be right… but maybe someone to face Bruce Wayne or Gordon who has the steroid, who has that strength and power."

Having Bane on the show would definitely be a welcomed addition. Some of Batman's most iconic villains - Riddler, Penguin, Poison Ivy, Joker (Maybe?) - have already appeared on the series, and Bane seems like the next one in line.

Even if we don't get to see Bane very soon, another major villain is coming to Gotham in the near future. It was recently confirmed that Harley Quinn would be appearing in next week's two-hour season finale. You can check out the synopsis for that episode below.
