New 'Gotham' Photos Reveal First Look at Scarecrow

Jonathan Crane has finally become the scarecrow in the Season 4 premiere of Gotham, and the final shot of the episode gave fans a taste of what the popular Batman villain would look like on the show.

While that shot was just a glimpse, Fox has now released the full look at Scarecrow in his costume, along with a whole batch of new photos from this week's episode, "The Fear Reaper."

Scarecrow's costume on Gotham takes a lot from his simpler looks from the comics and video games. The character has the classic bag over his head, but things get complicated with the wires around his back, hooking up his toxin and gas mask.

This design also includes the terrifying scythe as Scarecrow's weapon. The character has had weapons on chains at times, and he's been a bit more white collar at other times. However, this costume got back to the basics.

Along with the Scarecrow costume, the new photos included new looks at Barbara's return.
