Rahul Kohli Directs iZombie in 'Dirt Nap Time' Synopsis

The CW has released the official synopsis for "Dirt Nap Time," the forthcoming seventh episode of iZombie's third season.

Perhaps the most interesting piece of information from it is that the episode itself will be co-directed by one of iZombie's stars, Rahul Kohli. This appears to be a recent trend for The CW shows, as the most recent episode of The Flash was directed by cast member Tom Cavanagh.

The episode features a guest appearance by Shenae Grimes, a Canadian actress best known for appearing on Degrassi: The Next Generation and The CW's 90210 reboot. Grimes' character enters the fold after the murder of her boyfriend - a preschool teacher with a bit too much charm.

"Dirt Nap Time" will also bring forth new challenges for both Peyton and Blaine, individually. Blaine's storyline in particular should be interesting, since his character is dealing with both the team up between his father and Don-E, as well as potentially the effects of Ravi's memory loss cure.

SHENAE GRIMES ("90210") GUEST STARS — When Liv (Rose McIver) and Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) work together to solve the murder of a very charming, but womanizing, preschool teacher, things get interesting when they bring his jealous girlfriend Piper (guest star Shenae Grimes) in for questioning. Meanwhile, Peyton (Aly Michalka) is assigned a very interesting case. Lastly, Blaine (David Anders) finds himself in a bad situation. Rahul Kohli and Michael Fields directed the episode written by Deirdre Mangan (#307). Original airdate 5/16/2017.
