iZombie Recap with Spoilers: Looking for Mr. Goodbrain Part 2

The episode begins with Liv, Ravi, and Peyton watching a news report about the explosion. Major and Justin arrive, and the group embraces them. Major explains that they were close to dying too, if not for their luck.

Liv pulls Justin aside and tells him that she slept with Chase. She blames it on the brain, but Justin doesn't accept it and storms out.

Don E shows Blaine the patrons of the Scratching Post, who are all on choreographer brain and dancing together. He then discovers that the supply of brains was intercepted by the government.

Clive meets Liv and Ravi, as they attempt to identify the bodies from the explosion. He tells them about Patrice, and reveals that Chase asked her to fly to Paris to pick up his dog. They wonder if Chase used Patrice to introduce the virus and collect the brains of those who die.

Ravi suggests that the dog was wearing an anti-barking collar that emitted the virus. Liv reveals that the dog was wearing the collar last night, as well as what else she knows about Chase, and ultimately reveals that she slept with Chase.

Two jogger moms see the remains of one of the Filmore Graves zombies crawling down the street. He gets hit by a car, but is still okay.

Blaine tries to negotiate a deal with Chase to import his brains to Filmore Graves. Chase declines, and says that his men are banned from being there. Major enters the office and asks for Chase to turn him back into a zombie. Chase tells Major that he will need to swear allegiance to the zombie side in the event of the war. Major accepts.

Liv and Clive break into Chase's house. Liv drinks a can of Super Max, and jumps into Chase's pool. Chase finds her, and brings Clive and Liv inside.

They explain what they're doing, and ask how Chase knew Katty.

Blaine and Don E lament about the empty Scratching Post being over.

Ravi, Peyton, and Baracus sit in a meeting with CDC Officials. They reveal that hundreds of thousands in Seattle will die if the virus spreads without vaccination.

A news report shows that Baracus mandated every human in the city to get vaccines against the virus. Clive says how badly he needs to get the vaccine.

Liv gets a vision - of Carey Gold holding Katty hostage in the trunk of her car before killing her. They suggest that Carey was doing it to frame Chase. Clive and Liv leave to confront her.

Chase calls Carey into his office. He wants to touch base with her about Plan A, which was building Zombie Island, and Plan B, what's currently happening. Chase accuses her of spreading the flu and killing Wally's family, as well as Vivian. He calls security in, but she suggests that Zombie Island was a bad idea that would have gotten everybody killed. He asks security to escort her out, but they reveal that they're on her side.

Chase shoots the zombies, and her, dead. Clive and Liv arrive, and he explains what happened. Clive gets distraught at the idea of Carey killing Wally.

A news report shows long lines for the flu vaccine. Johnny Frost quickly gets the vaccine while on air.

Clive arrives at the precinct the next day to see Dale. She explains that she found the case full of brains, as well as Tanner. Dale reveals Tanner's ties to both Major and Blaine. Clive punches Tanner in the fact and shows Dale that he's a zombie, asking that he not get put in jail and cause a zombie outbreak.

Ravi uses small bits of tainted Utopium from Catty's evidence to make another cure.

Liv gets another vision of Katty discovering Patrice and Tatum eating brains.

Liv knocks on the door at the Gold household. She finds Patrice in a tanning bed, and with a phone blowing up with texts about D-Day. She goes to call Peyton about it, but her phone is dead, so she uses the house phone.

She grabs a few brain tubes, and then calls Peyton and tells her what she discovered. She suggests that zombies have tricked the CDC into giving out bad vaccines. Liv is interrupted by Tatum, and tries to comfort her. Tatum explains that she went to the boat party with Patrice, and that the Gold family has essentially been withholding brains from her.

Patrice zombies out and attacks Liv, and Tatum joins in. Liv zombies out and fights them off.

Liv watches as vials of zombie blood are loaded into vaccines by Filmore Graves soldiers. She escapes as Filmore Graves soldiers chase after her.

Clive and Dale stand in line for the vaccine. Liv calls him, but the reception is bad. Clive leaves the line and heads outside. Liv tells him what she discovered, and he rushes inside to protect Dale. He finds that she's already gotten the vaccine.

Liv meets with Johnny Frost and tells him that he's now a zombie. She gives him a vial of brain mush, which he hungrily eats, in exchange for saying something on air.

Johnny goes on air and tells viewers that the vaccine is infected, and that those who do will turn into zombies. Riots break out at the vaccination centers. He then tells everyone that the zombies are still people, and should be treated as such.

A gun shop is broken into.

Johnny's news crew talks about the story, but are interrupted by Graves. He brings a thumb drive with a video on it, and shoots the news director after he refuses to play it.

Chase's video plays. He explains that all of FG's employees are zombies, and that the flu will be eradicated.

As he monologues, Clive helps Dale dye her hair. Major stands over flu patients in the hospital and scratches them, turning them into zombies.

Chase confirms that Seattle's brains will not be harvested from the living, but from deceased donors across America. He tells the rest of America that the zombie population will stay in Seattle and not spread as long as these conditions are met.

Don E offers blue brains to zombies walking around town. The Scratching Post is packed with people eating blue brains.

Filmore Graves trucks and a group of zombies are interrupted by a mob of humans. Major, Justin, and the other FG soldiers kill the humans.

Peyton interrupts Baracus, who is reading to a class of kids, and tells him what happens.

The video ends, and Liv questions Chase's plan. He tells her that he doesn't really have a choice, and then compliments her new look.

Liv changes out of her disguise and back to her zombie look. Ravi shows her a sugar cube of a cure for being a zombie. Ravi eats it, and asks Liv to scratch him.

He remembers when he first saw Liv eat brains in the morgue, and says he wants to get scratched so he knows he made a difference. Liv scratches him as the screen fades to black. Ravi jokingly moans, and Liv teases him for it.
