DC Comics fans aren't ashamed to admit it; They are desperate for Justice League footage. This summer, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. will finally unleash the iconic team into theaters when its solo film hits. Heroes like Batman and Wonder Woman will find themselves teamed up with the Flash and other heroes in an effort to save the world. And, yes, Aquaman will take his rightful spot on the team thanks to Jason Momoa.

Last month, fans got their first-look at Momoa's Aquaman in action when Zack Snyder shared test footage of the character. A brief clip of Aquaman swimming deep in the ocean was posted to the director's Vero account, and fans were quick to coo over the clever footage. Now, Snyder is giving a bit more insight into the test footage and has shared yet another photo of the hero.

Taking to Vero yet again, Snyder recently posted a behind-the-scenes photo of Momoa filming the test footage. "People are wondering whether he was CG or not," Snyder wrote. "He's not...hair and environment [was] CG otherwise all Jason."

In the picture, fans get a look at what filming looked like for much of Momoa's underwater scenes. The set is nothing but a series of green scenes and sparse props. Momoa can be seen hovering in mid-air as he is held up by a covered wire mechanism. Behind the actor, another crew member can be seen directing Momoa's harness whilst being dressed in head-to-toe green.

Of course, Momoa will need to get used to such filming conditions; After all, the star is gearing up to film Aquaman with director James Wan. The standalone superhero film is set to being shooting in Australia where Momoa will be joined by Amber Heard. The starlet has been tapped to play Mera for the feature.

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Ciarán Hinds, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg.
