DC fans have plenty of questions about Justice League, but no topic has been as big as Superman's suit. DC Films has teased the possibility of Clark Kent wearing Superman's black suit in the film, and a new piece of merchandise has added fuel to the argument.

A new picture of Justice League merchandise is making its way around Reddit, and it has got fans buzzing. The image, which can be seen below, shows a person with a toy card in-hand. The pamphlet shows a series of Mattel action figures which align with Justice League's characters, and its second series features Superman in his black suit.

The first series appears to show most of the Justice League team in their usual uniforms alongside Steppenwolf and a Parademon. There's no telling how the second figure series may connect with the movie, but it does feature some interesting pieces.

For one, the second series is the only one containing the Flash. The series also appears to include a different Parademon alongside an Atlantean guard. Aquaman is also included, but the hero is shown without a shirt, and Cyborg has a new figure of himself with his helmet on.

Fans are unsure whether the Mattel line-up is meant to signal the appearance of Superman's black suit, but they are hopeful. After all, one trailer for Justice League did show Cyborg flying with his helmet on. However, there is reason to think the figure's inclusion is nothing more than a tease.

When Man of Steel was preparing to enter theaters, fans began to think Superman's black suit may make an appearance thanks to a toy. Movie Masters sold a Superman collectible of the hero in the dark suit, prompting fans to think the outfit change may make it to theaters.

If you are not familiar with Superman's alternative costume, then you have a bit to catch up on. The black suit was made popular in The Death of Superman. After being killed by Doomsday, Superman rose back to life wearing a black suit. The costume was created to help Superman absorb more of the sun's energy to help power him up after he'd been out-of-commission, so it wouldn't be too surprising to see the hero don the outfit in Justice League.

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's (Henry Cavill) selfless act, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes -- Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash -- it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
