Was Green Lantern's Suit In An Old 'Justice League' Photo?

Green Lantern's possible involvement in Justice League has been a mystery for quite some time. And according to one fan theory, the hero's suit could have been hiding in plain sight.

Reddit user cryptic_nightowl recently suggested that Green Lantern's costume was actually shown in one of the earliest Justice League behind the scenes photos. The photo, of Jason Momoa (Arthur Curry/Aquaman) and Justice League director Zack Snyder, has an array of different costumes for the film in the background. According to their theory, the black suit that was presumed to be Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck) could actually be for Green Lantern.

It's unclear if this theory is true, mainly because it's based off of a junior VFX artist's unconfirmed description of the Green Lantern suit. And as some fans have pointed out in the comments, the suit does bare resemblance to Batman's tactical suit. Still, the mere concept of a more tactical Green Lantern suit appearing in Justice League has excited quite a few fans.

The possibility of Green Lantern having a cameo in Justice League has been floated around pretty heavily, largely thanks to a few of the film's trailers, but nothing concrete has ever been confirmed. The closest evidence has been his appearance in the DC Films intro, a reported soundtrack listing, and even a The Big Bang Theory tie-in contest. (And, of course, Armie Hammer's frequent trolling.)

Fans will just have to wait and see if Green Lantern does make an appearance in Justice League. But with tickets recently going on sale and the film's release officially less than a month away, they won't have to wait too long.

Justice League lands in theaters on November 17th.
