The latest Justice League trailer ended with a big mystery, as Batman's butler Alfred was seen talking to a mysterious figure. That figure could be the key in helping the Justice League turn the tide of battle against the evil Steppenwolf, and there are two popular theories on who this mystery hero could be.

The most obvious guess is Henry Cavill's Superman back from the dead, but a lot of DC fans are also hoping it could be the surprise reveal of the DC Extended Universe Green Lantern. Fans also have a favorite casting pick for the new Hal Jordan: Man From U.N.C.L.E. star Armie Hammer.

One fan has gone far enough as to edit Hammer into the ending of the Justice League trailer, showing him suiting up as Green Lantern. You can see for yourself just how exciting that would be below:

Justice League is currently in post-production reshoots under the direction of Joss Whedon, who has stepped in to finish the film for Zack Snyder. There have been continued rumors that Warner Bros. is trying hard to rein in the wayward blockbuster in time for its fall release.

The film is being co-directed by Joss Whedon and Zack Snyder, based on a screenplay by Chris Terrio. The cast includes Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash, Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, J. K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon, and Amber Heard as Mera.

Justice League will be in theaters on November 17, 2017.
