There's just a few months separating DC Extended Universe fans from Justice League. The long-awaited film is set to debut in November, and Warner Bros. is working through the film's post-production right now with director Joss Whedon at the helm. However, Zack Snyder isn't ready to let go of the feature just yet; The film's original director just took to social media to share a new look at Aquaman from Justice League.

Over on Vero, Snyder posted a behind-the-scenes look at Aquaman from the set of Justice League. The picture shows Jason Momoa breaching water in Iceland as the shirtless actor pumps two fists in the air.

"Last shot of Jason in Iceland," Snyder captioned the photo.

The image itself doesn't give away any spoilers about Aquaman and his role in Justice League, but it is a nice treat for fans. The still gives audiences a look at the movie's stunning scenery as Momoa is shown in front of stunning Icelandic mountains. The actor's fit physique is also shown in full-force, and fans can't stop gushing over how perfect Momoa's casting is for the DCEU.

Momoa's work in Iceland may have wrapped awhile back, but the actor is not finished with his DCEU work. Production wrapped on the feature some time ago, but reshoots for Justice League began earlier this summer. News broke that Joss Whedon would oversee filming after Snyder stepped back from the project; The DCEU visionary publicly exited Justice League alongside his wife Deborah Snyder following the tragic death of his daughter. With Whedon in the director's seat, Justice League is well into post-production and brought its superhero team back together for a series of extensive reshoots.

Of course, there is no telling how much Whedon was tasked with reshooting on Justice League. Executives at Warner Bros. have stressed the director only filmed scenes requested by Snyder, but rumors have popped up which suggest otherwise.

According to Slash Film, Whedon was reportedly asked to alter Justice League's original ending. Peter Sciretta explained, "From what I've heard is happening, Joss Whedon has been brought in to make it lighter, as has been reported, but he's also redoing the ending of the movie"

"Originally this movie is all about the Mother Boxes, you know. The bad guys are trying to get the Mother Boxes. Steppenwolf is trying to get the mother boxes and he's trying to get the earth ready for the coming of Darkseid. And the original ending of the movie from what I understand was, he was kind of playing the Silver Surfer role, with Darkseid playing the Galactus role, and the ending of the movie was a cliffhanger and Justice League 2 was going to be Justice League vs Darkseid, Ya know, Darkseid arrives at Earth," Slash Film reported. "This kind of down, dirty ending, and from what I understand that has been completely removed. The ending ends the movie like a movie, it doesn't end on a huge cliffhanger now."

Fans will have to wait and see how Justice League turns out once its premiere date lands, but the truth behind its reshoots may never be revealed. It is clear Snyder and Whedon have put plenty of energy into the blockbuster, so fans hope their shared visions will turn Justice League into a hit. And, if Snyder's set photo proves anything, it is that Aquaman will look badass when he makes his DCEU debut.
