'Legends of Tomorrow' Premiere Promo Remixes Time

A brand-new promo dropped last night for the season three premiere of CW's DC's Legends of Tomorrow and it looks like time and history itself is getting a remix.

At the end of last season, the Legends broke time by interacting with themselves in their efforts to stop the Legion of Doom and now the team has to set things right. Check out the clip above

The clip features the Legends engaged in a variety of battles and while it does make use of footage from last season — particularly the team in formal wear walking in the White House and Mick with his heat gun in Revolutionary times — there's new footage for fans as well. Clips of a toga-wearing DJ as well as what appears to be the team doing some fighting amidst Roman partygoers, which makes sense since executive producer Phil Klemmer previously revealed that the team would be crossing paths with Julius Caesar.

"We start out in 2017, obviously, but we're going to take a trip back to Ancient Rome," Klemmer said. "We're going to have Simon Merrells — he played Julius Caesar's [patron Crassus] on Spartacus — who's going to be playing Julius Caesar on our show."

Fans will find out just how remixed history is and how the Legends plan to fix it when the show returns next month.

The third season of Legends of Tomorrow will return to the CW Tuesday, October 10th following new episodes of The Flash.
