The Warner Bros. Studio Tour in Burbank has expanded, as the all-new DC Experience is poised for its big opening. At an early preview event, press got to see what the DC Entertainment elements will be, with movie costumes and props central to the exhibit.

They make a bold statement right off the bat (no pun intended) by having large banners for the Justice League welcoming you (Green Lantern, Flash, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg and Aquaman), with many of their first appearances on display. The panels show that DC Comics is central to Warner's plans for the future, and the respect they have for the origins of these massively popular characters.

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice portion of the DC Experience is a very inclusive display. Wonder Woman and Superman are two of the most prominent features with dummies designed to resemble Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot respectively, fully costumed. From this up close and personal, you can really see the fine detail work that goes into crafting the costumes of each individual character.

The small Greek writing around the edges of Wonder Woman's shield and Kryptonian symbols embedded within Superman's suit are visible at the display, and the Batmobile plans are stunningly detailed.

The latter half of the exhibit focuses on WB's upcoming Suicide Squad movie and has a distinct tonal shift from the first section. It is, at the same time, more brightly lit and more manic than its BvS counterpart - much like the films appear to be. The costumes are pop art-influenced and frightening. Many of the Joker's kooky henchmen are on display (Shark Guy, Panda Guy, Eye Guy), that definitely lend credence to the fact that he is one of the more troubling DC villains.

The dark epic sensibilities of BvS and the bright, twisted Suicide Squad displays speak to the diversity in DC characters that will hopefully translate to the big screen. The new additions are a must-see for DC fans taking the WB Studio Tour. Check out the full gallery of images from the first look below.
