Suicide Squad IMAX Poster Released

The marketing push for the next comic book movie is officially in full swing. Warner Brothers and DC Films have now released the official IMAX poster for their upcoming anti-hero flick, Suicide Squad.

Rather than show off the star power of the new film, the IMAX poster brings a the sweet sarcasm of the movie to the forefront with the vibrant and bright colors of a cereal bowl. Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, and the rest of the gang's characters are all represented in the form of marshmallow cereal charms. You'll spot everyone: Deadshot, Harley Quinn, El Diablo, Slipknot, Rick Flag, Enchantress, Katana, Captain Boomerang...

In Suicide Squad, it feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world's most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government's disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren't picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it's every man for himself?

Suicide Squad is directed and written by David Ayer (Fury) and features an all-star cast: Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman, Cara Delevingne, Viola Davis, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Adam Beach, Jay Hernandez, and Karen Fukahara.

Suicide Squad is set to be released August 5, 2016.
