Supergirl's Relationship With Mon-El Will Be Explored In Back Half of Season 2

Supergirl season 2 has been much improved thanks to its move over to The CW, where the creative flow has better favored what fans like in their DC TV Shows. One thing that has been heating up in season 2 is the cutesy romance brewing between Mon-El (Chris Wood) and Kara/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist).

A recent clip from Kevin Smith's latest Supergirl episode showed another 'meet-cute' moment between the two model-faced aliens, and according to executive producer Ali Adler, we'll see that romantic sub-plot continue over the latter half of season 2.

As Adler told TV Line when laying out the midseason 2 arcs, "We'll explore more of that relationship... Kara still has to figure out how she feels about him."

The fact that we now know Mon-El is hiding a possibly nefarious secret will also have to be addressed, with Adler acknowledging, "A lot of secrets have been brewing this season," and that as season 2 gets into its latter half, "We'll get definitive answers."
