The Flash Season 3 Finale Synopsis Released

The CW has released the official synopsis for the season finale of The Flash, coming up in two weeks.

It gives away very little, other than the fact that Barry and Savitar will have a showdown in which Barry feels he has "nothing left to lose." Is it possible he actually fails to save Iris -- or that his attempts to stop Savitar drive her away before the death can happen?

With nothing left to lose, Barry (Grant Gustin) takes on Savitar (also Grant Gustin) in an epic conclusion to season three.

David McWhirter directed the episode written by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing. It will air on May 23 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
