Kevin Smith has made a lasting mark on DC's CW shows, with each episode he directs becoming a quick fan-favorite.

Now, it looks like the famed director could be setting his sights on one of DC's other television properties.

After Smith mentioned that he'd like to direct Gotham and Riverdale at some point in the future, one of Gotham's biggest stars got extremely excited.

Robin Lord Taylor - who plays The Penguin on the FOX series - called out Kevin Smith on Twitter, after hearing his comment about the show.

Taylor welcomed the director with open arms, saying he'd love to have him direct some Gotham episodes.

In his typical fashion, Smith responded to the actor, further expressing his interest in joining the show. The director tweeted back, telling him to "light up the fat signal" and he would "waddle on over."
