'Wonder Woman's Patty Jenkins Reveals If She Would Direct a 'Star Wars' Film

Now that Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins has a DC Comics film under her belt, its safe to say she could lend her talents to whatever franchise she wanted. But would she be willing to direct a film set in a certain galaxy far, far away?

Screenrant recently asked Jenkins if she would be interesting in helming a film set in the Star Wars universe. And as the director revealed, it might not be a career priority for her, but it certainly isn't out of the question.

"It would depend on a project, you know." Jenkins explained. "I only want to make movies I understand and feel like I could do a good job at. There's no world that I – I'm not that kind of filmmaker, I think it's film by film [for me]."

With LucasFilm planning on making Star Wars films for quite some time, it's definitely plausible that Jenkins could be enlisted to direct at some point. But in the meantime, she has the much-anticipated Wonder Woman sequel - as well as a possible Oscar campaign - in her immediate future.

Wonder Woman has an 86.52 ComicBook.com Composite Score and a 4.33 out of 5 ComicBook.com User Rating, making it the fourth-highest ranked comic book movie of all time among ComicBook.com readers.
