Directors often like to appear in their own films, and DC's main man is no different. Fans have been certain Snyder appeared in Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice somewhere, but no one had found the cameo.

Now, the cat is out of the bag and Snyder's cameo in the film has been revealed. Larry Fong, the movie's cinematographer, told some fans out Twitter that the director had an incredibly unnoticable appearance in the film.

When a fan was asking about the film, Fong revealed that Snyder was holding a spotlight in a certain shot of Superman. Later, Fong shared one more interesting fact, this one pointing out Snyder's cameo.

If you recall, Bruce Wayne searches an underground fighting ring when tracking information on Superman. At one point, the camera shows a close-up of his hand picking up a cell phone. According to Wong, this is Zack Snyder, not Ben Affleck.

When fans questioned Fong, thinking it was a joke, he backed his statement up. After being asked why Affleck wouldn't just shoot the scene himself, Fong pointed out the reality of the situation. He said:

"1) often actors don't want to do little tiny shots; 2) often directors LOVE to".

This may not be the cameo fans were hoping for, but it shows just how involved Snyder was with the film. Not only did he serve as director, but he filled in for actors and held lights off-camera.

Zack Snyder truly is a one-man movie machine.
