Another member of Thanos' Black Order has officially been cast!

Tom Vaughan-Lawlor (Peaky Blinders, Love/Hate) recently revealed that he will be playing Ebony Maw in the highly anticipated Avengers: Infinity War. The Irish actor broke his silence about his Marvel Cinematic Universe role during an interview with RTE Radio 1's Second Captains.

"You sign so many documents and waivers," Vaughan-Lawlor revealed, "and people ask you about it and you have to give the generic and boring 'I can't say too much about it.' But I am doing it and it's really amazing and an amazing thing to be part of."

The Black Order - henchmen of Infinity War's antagonist Thanos (Josh Brolin) - were spotted throughout the film's set, and were confirmed to appear via a set of awesome statues at this summer's D23 Expo. And while the group of Thanos' "children" are expected to play a significant role in Infinity War, Vaughan-Lawlor says he hasn't gotten a big head about the whole experience.

"Any time you think you've in any way 'arrived'," Vaughan-Lawlor explained, "you need to ask yourself questions about your art and what you perceive yourself to be. You've got to focus on your work and let the rest take care of itself."

Vaughan-Lawlor is the second Black Order casting to officially be announced, following mo-cap veteran Terry Notary. But with Infinity War's release date inching closer and closer, we can hopefully expect to find out more about the rest of the ensemble very soon.
