Dafne Keen Reveals Her Scariest Moment On Set Of Logan

The scariest moment on the set of Logan for 11-year-old actress Dafne Keen wasn't slicing people's faces off, filming a car chase, or having to lay out every bit of acting chops she had to nail the masterpiece ending. It was just walking on the set and meeting an iconic actor who had been a part of the franchise for as long as Hugh Jackman.

Speaking to ComicBook.com in an exclusive interview, Keen and director James Mangold discussed the moments which were most intimidating for the brilliant young actress.

"I think the scariest moment was when I met Patrick [Stewart] because I had already met Hugh [Jackman] at the casting," Keen said. "So, it was the first day, like when everyone was there."

Mangold was quick to point out that Keen had briefly met Stewart, prior to their on-set encounter.

"I remember doing the rehearsal with you when you were in the back," Mangold said. "Maybe we had like a pickup truck backed up on the sound stage and we just. Did you meet him there?"

As it turns out, Keen simply doesn't count that encounter as truly meeting Sir Patrick Stewart.

"Yeah, but we didn't really talk though," Keen said. "Like the actual day when we really talked was like the first day of filming."

Stepping onto a movie set with such an accomplished and iconic actor would be scary for anybody, let alone an 11-year-old actress making her big screen debut.

"I think both Patrick and Hugh went out of their way, as they do with everybody but certainly with Dafne, to kind of both men being dads," Mangold said. "They would be riding around in this car for many days shooting this movie. They all were playing word games and singing songs in that car."

The director and actress duo also chatted with ComicBook.com about the posssibilities of Keen's X-23 character wearing a comic book or cartoon-accurate costume, something Jackman never got around to. For more on that, click here!

Logan is now playing in theaters.
