Throughout five different seasons focused on four separate characters, the Devil of Hell's Kitchen remains the only costumed Defender in the Marvel and Netflix series.

But Daredevil actor Charlie Cox wants to help hook up one of his co-stars in the forthcoming The Defenders and co-star Finn Jones is all for the Iron Fist scoring his classic duds — winged collar, mask, and all. Watch the video above!

"In the show I would say to Finn, 'I'll take you to Melvin Potter,' and he'd be like, 'no no no, I don't want to go, man,'" Cox said while speaking with Sensacine. "And I'd be like, 'no, come on, I'll take you to Melvin Potter and get the suit,' and he's like 'I don't need a suit.'"

"I'm good," Jones added with a laugh, hinting at their character dynamic in The Defenders.

"'Does it look like that? Then I don't want one,'" Cox joked.

Jones got serious for a second and said that he does want the classic Iron Fist costume, but only under the right circumstances.

"The time has to be right," Jones added. "Danny has to earn the right to wear the suit."

Daredevil went most of the first season before donning his iconic red (and black) suit for Season 2, while the other shows have only given winks and nods toward the comic book-faithful looks for the other characters.

Will Defenders take Danny Rand one step closer to the popped collar, flowing sash, and classic mask fans recognize? We'll find out when The Defenders premieres on Netflix August 18.

Marvel's The Defenders follows Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones). A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.

Marvel's The Defenders is developed by Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez. The miniseries will also feature Sigourney Weaver as the villain, Alexandra (Sigourney Weaver), and several recurring guest stars from Marvel's Daredevil, Marvel's Jessica Jones, Marvel's Luke Cage, and Marvel's Iron Fist, including Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Scott Glenn as Stick, Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, and Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing.
