Doctor Strange Artist Shares Otherworldly Dormammu Concept Pieces

We've covered alternative looks for Dormammu in the past, but thanks to concept artist Jerad Marantz, we're now getting a whole new look at the ruler of the Dark Dimension.

In Doctor Strange, we saw Dormammu assume a look that resembled a celestial being rather than a humanoid form. This most recent concept art, however, shows Dormammu in a way vastly different than what we saw in the movie.

In addition to being a concept artist for Doctor Strange, Marantz is also credited as an artist on Guardians of the Galaxy, Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2, and Captain America: Civil War.

To see all of the concept art released by Marantz, look through the gallery below. What do you think, Strange fans? Do you prefer this take on Dormammu or do you prefer the comic-accurate look that was displayed in the movie?

Doctor Strange will appear next in Thor: Ragnarok, and is also due to appear in Avengers: Infinity War, which began principal photography this week. Doctor Strange hits digital HD February 14, and DVD/Blu-ray on February 28.
