Though he may be small, Ant-Man is not a hero fans should overlook carelessly. After all, the Falcon made that kind of mistake, and the Avenger got his butt kicked for the slight. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ant-Man may not have had much time to shine, but the pint-sized hero is taking strides to expand his fanbase. Following his part in Captain America: Civil War, Ant-Man is set to return in a standalone sequel featuring him and the Wasp. Now, actress Evangeline Lily is speaking up about her superhero role, and she is getting fans hyped for her costumed debut.

Taking to Twitter, Lily gave fans an update on where she's at with Ant-Man And The Wasp. "Had a fitting for my #Wasp costume last week. Am I the only one getting excited?????" she wrote.

The tweet itself was accompanied by a stunning piece of concept art which shows the Wasp's costume. In the picture, fans can see the heroine donning a silver mask which looks just like the headgear Ant-Man dons. The costume itself also borrows the hero's red-and-black color scheme, but the outfit has a flared silhouette at the hip to highlight Hope van Dyne's curves. And, on the heroine's back, a pair of wings can be seen beating quickly as she hovers in the air.

Recently, ComicBook's Brandon Davis was able to get a close-up look at the costume designs for the Wasp. Davis was invited to a tour of Marvel Studios back in April, and it was there he caught a peek of Hope's sleek suit. You can read his description of the outfit below:

"Elsewhere, a trio of designs for The Wasp were hanging. Reed pointed out that one was a classic Hope Van Dyne design while the two others featured an approach which mirrors the Ant-Man's design and scheme. The middle image featured a blue, gold, and white design with the top one being a copy of the black, red, and silver Ant-Man scheme."

Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Doctor Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.

Ant-Man earned $180.2M domestically and $339.1M internationally for a total of $519.3M when it debuted. The film was directed by Peyton Reed while story credit goes to Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish. The screenplay was penned by Adam McKay and Paul Rudd.
