What do you get when you combine Parks & Recreation, a WWE Superstar, and a dancing tree? Well, you get a whole bunch of money, that's what.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 opened in select international markets on Tuesday, and posted the second-biggest Day 1 box office of any Marvel film. James Gunn's space opera sequel earned $6.6 million on the first night, which leaves it behind only The Avengers.

While that may not seem like a lot of money, think about where it opened. The film grossed that much in just one night, while only being released in Australia, New Zealand, and Italy.

These numbers more than double the opening debut of the first Guardians film, as it only took home $2.9 million in its debut.

Expect these numbers to skyrocket over the next two weeks, as Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2 opens around the world. Markets like France, Belgium, Finland, Indonesia, and others will get the film this weekend, while the U.S. and China will get the film next weekend.
