New Logan Video Reminds Fans Of How Strong Wolverine's Claws Are

YouTube's Hydraulic Press Channel is pretty entertaining as it is.

Watching everyday and/or exotic items being destroyed is enjoyable for many people, especially when you take the methodical and easy-going pace of a hydraulic press doing its job with the animated reactions of the channel's host Lauri Vuohensilta.

So far the channel has showcased the destruction of bowling balls, easter baskets, a Nokia phone, and a red-hot knife.

But now with their latest video the press has finally met its match.

In promotion of Logan, with the help of 20th Century Fox, the team takes a small ball-shaped piece of the (fictional) metal adamantium to see how it fairs against the smashing treatment.

And things… well, they don't go well for the steel baseplate on which the adamantium sits.

They then attempt to crush the claws belonging to the Wolverine himself, demonstrating just how strong of the substance that coats his bones is.

Even though the press has the power of leverage and thousands of pounds per inch pressing down, it's still not enough to even dent Wolverine's claws.

Check out the video to see the channel's most difficult challenge to date, then watch more to see the hydraulic press destroy any other object with ease.

Are you hyped to watch those claws tear through a bunch of goons one last time? Click below to vote in our Anticipation Ratings for Logan, currently the 4th Most Anticipated Film as ranked by ComicBook.com readers!

Logan takes place in the year 2029, where mutant births have become extremely rare. The defenders of mutant kind, the X-Men, are long gone, and the only remains of them are an old and struggling Charles Xavier and a weary Logan. Logan's vaunted healing factor has slowed, and at times doesn't seem to work at all. When a young mutant needs his help, Logan has to unsheathe his claws once more. His job isn't over yet.

Logan stars Hugh Jackman (Logan), Boyd Holbrook (Donald Pierce), Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier), Dafne Keen (Laura Kinney/X-23), Doris Morgado (Maria), Stephen Merchant (Caliban), Elizabeth Rodriguez (Gabriela), and Richard E. Grant (Dr. Zander Rice). James Mangold is directing and helped on the screenplay along with Scott Frank and Michael Green.

Logan hits theaters on March 3, 2017.
