Marvel TV Funkos Including Luke Cage and Black Bolt Are Coming

Everybody loves Funko Pop figures, and some of their biggest recent hits have been adaptations of Marvel and DC's TV characters to big-headed, 4" glory.

Up next: A number of Marvel characters with TV ties, including Luke Cage and The Inhumans's Black Bolt.

Of course, nobody has seen what Black Bolt will look like on TV yet, so this is just a Pop for the comics version of the character as designed by Jack Kirby and another featuring his more recent redesign by Uncanny Inhumans artist Steve McNiven...but it's hard to avoid the impression they're probably gearing up for the coming show.

Luke Cage and Iron First will also be sold in their classic, 1970s uniforms from the hit series Heroes for Hire and Power Man and Iron Fist.

They're also releasing a Free Comic Book Day exclusive variant Iron Fist figure featuring the white costume worn in the comics to symbolize his status as the current and most powerful Iron Fist.

All three of the standard, Previews-Exclusive figures will be featured in the January issue of Diamond's PREVIEWS catalog. Each figure will carry a suggested price of $11.99, and will be available in stores late January 2017. The FCBD 2017 exclusive Iron First variant will be available in stores on May 6, 2017 with a suggested price of $11.99 as well.

Marvel's Luke Cage and Marvel's Iron Fist are expected to bring new series to Netflix in 2017. Marvel's The Inhumans will get a two-hour IMAX premiere before coming to ABC in the fall.
