Mystery Marvel Teaser To Air After Agents Of SHIELD

It looks like Agents of SHIELD fans will be gifted with a special treat after tomorrow's midseason finale. According to Natalia Cordova, the episode will be followed by a short, mysterious teaser that Marvel has put together.

"Absolutely love working w/ my girl @ChloeBennet4!" Cordova wrote on Twitter. "Make sure to watch the surprise teaser @marvel has after the finale."

So far, there is no word on what the teaser might contain, but Cordova has commented on what won't be seen in it. And, sadly, she ruled out any chance of it showing footage from Spider-Man: Homecoming. The actress was inundated with fan tweets asking her whether the vigilante would make a small screen appearance after Agents of SHIELD aired, but Cordova said no.

"Wowzers! Not a 📽teaser even though I love me some 🕷man. Something smaller & not seen before. But jeez! I hope you are as excited for this.." she told one fan.

In later tweets, Cordova did apologize for putting fans on edge with her announcement, but she does hope fans will be as "excited about this small holiday gift as you are about this other…"

Of course, the 'other' which she is referring to is the trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming. Fans have been anticipating the trailer to drop at any time since it is set to accompany Rogue One: A Star Wars Story when it enters theaters. Over the weekend, Sony Pictures showed off some exclusive footage from the film at Brazil's Comic-Con, and fans went ga-ga over Spider-Man's arrival.

For now, fans will just have to wait a bit longer until the trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming drops. Tomorrow, they will find themselves gifted with a teaser of different kind, and fans are starting to wonder what Marvel Entertainment has up their sleeves.
