Doctor Strange is fast approaching, but fans of the sorcerer supreme in Russia will have a chance to see the film a few days early on October 28th.
Marvel announced the change of schedule on their Twitter page, and to celebrate the announcement the studio included a new photo from the film, featuring a costumed Strange standing inside what is presumably his sanctum sanctorum. You can view the new photo in the gallery.
This is the second schedule change the film has received, as it was just announced yesterday that Strange will get an early release in the United Kingdom as well, hitting theaters there on October 24th.
Marvel's "Doctor Strange" follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City's Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.
Doctor Strange stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tilda Swinton, Mads Mikkelsen, Scott Adkins, Benedict Wong, and Michael Stuhlbarg.
Doctor Strange releases in North America on November 4th, and you can read about the rest of this year's upcoming movies in our Fall 2016 movie preview here.
