Peter Parker Writes His Own Theme Song In Spider-Man: Homecoming

When the Marvel Cinematic Universe finally welcomed Spider-Man to its fold, fans were pleased to see the vigilante in all his goofy awkwardness. Peter Parker may be a superhuman teenager, but the boy still has immature quirks which make him loved by just about everyone. Whether the hero was geeking out over Captain America or making jokes about Star Wars, fans quickly fell for Peter Parker's impish charm. And, now, it looks like fans may get a chance to see how the superhero's songwriting skills are.

Over in Japan, Spider-Man: Homecoming has invaded the country as the film undergoes some press abroad. Not only was new footage of the film showed during an event, but a slew of props were also teased. Netizens have since brought pictures of those items to the Internet, and fans have learned that Peter Parker wrote his own superhero theme song.

In the picture below, fans can make out just some of the lyrics Spider-Man was writing about - well - himself. Some of the text has been cut off, but there are a few lyrical gems hidden on the scratch sheet.

Peter isn't shy to praise his skills, and the movie says the boy is "as strong as an ox" and can leap "over city blocks!" He even likens himself to a streak of light, a fact with the Flash might contend if they were in the same universe.

As for the theme's final verses, you can read up on them here. "Spider-Man, Spider-Man / The original action man / Fame and glory - not his way / He just wants to save the day!"

Now, what would fans have to do to get Spider-Man to write a jingle like this for Iron Man?
