Spider-Man: Homecoming Better Look At Shocker's Costume

05/21/2017 10:00 am EDT

The Vulture isn't the only Spider-Man villain coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Spider-Man: Homecoming, and now we've got our best look yet at one of the others in action.

At Hasbro's off-site event at Toy Fair 2017 in February, the toy company revealed the promotional artwork for their Spider-Man: Homecoming toy line. The promotional artwork included a look at the Shocker in his full super-villain costume.

The lighting and set up at the event meant that photos of the artwork was dark and hard to make out. Now that some of the Hasbro toys featuring the art are making their way into stores, we've got an even better look at the Shocker's costume. Check it out below.

The Shocker, a.k.a. Herman Schultz will be played by Bokeem Woodbine in Spider-Man: Homecoming. The Shocker is said to use a modified version of Crossbones' gauntlets to create his signature shockwaves. We still have not seen a movie still of the Shocker in costume, so it remains unclear how accurate the toy version is to the film.

The Shocker was created by Stan Lee and John Romita Sr. in 1967's The Amazing Spider-Man #46. Spider-Man: Homecoming will be the first time that the Shocker has appeared in a live-action film.

Spider-Man: Homecoming currently has a 4.13 out of 5 ComicBook User Anticipation Rating, making it the eighth most anticipated upcoming comic book movie among ComicBook.com readers.
