Mark Ruffalo Teases "Fight Of The Century" In 'Thor: Ragnarok'

If you thought Floyd Mayweather's fight with Conor McGregor this year was big, then you haven't heard about Hulk and Thor. The pair teased their upcoming duel in Thor: Ragnarok during the film's latest trailer, and Mark Ruffalo is hyping the match on social media now.

Taking to Instagram, Ruffalo posted a photo of himself observing a fight between Thor and Hulk -- well, sort of. The actor can be seen standing behind a pair of action figures which show the Hulk crouching over Thor to land a brutal blow.

"Wait what? Who smashed who? The fight of the century is coming," Ruffalo captioned the photo.

Of course, Marvel fans will be quick to grasp the reference Ruffalo is making. The latest trailer for Thor: Ragnarok saw a de-Hulked Bruce Banner ask his Avengers comrade who won their match at the Grandmaster's tournament. Thor says he easily won the battle, but it looks like Ruffalo isn't so sure about the boast.

It's not surprising to see Ruffalo backing the Hulk over his upcoming match; if the actor had to be money on it, he would probably bet his bucks on the Hulk smashing Thor much like he did to Loki. Fans are also pulling for the green giant, and Ruffalo's recent comments about how angry the Hulk is only backs their faith.

During a recent interview with Good Morning America, the actor told the show Banner's alter-ego is more angry than ever before.

"He's even more angry than he was the last time we saw him," Ruffalo revealed. "For a much longer period of time."

For now, fans can continue their betting pools for Thor: Ragnarok's match, but they may want to think carefully before putting everything down on the Hulk. Thor isn't called a god for nothing, so he may pull an upset that even the Grandmaster couldn't see coming.
