Batman: The Animated Series Comes to Amazon Instant Video

Batman: The Animated Series is now available for free streaming to Amazon Prime members, Warner Bros. announced today via Twitter.
The series joins the '80s and '90s-era live-action Batman movies on the service, to which members can gain access from an annual fee.
The Batman films and a number of DC animated series, including Batman Beyond and Batman: The Brave and the Bold, have expired from that service in recent months.
Timed to ride the success of Batman and Batman Returns, Batman: The Animated Series changed the face of animation and helped establish many of The Dark Knight's rogues gallery to a new generation of viewers.
A feature-length animated Justice League film -- Justice League: Gods and Monsters -- from two of the animated series' most influential producers is coming to Blu-ray and DVD this summer.
Disclosure: ComicBook is owned by CBS Interactive, a division of Paramount. Sign up for Paramount+ by clicking here.
