Batman V Superman Makes The Real World Feel "Gentle," Says Diane Lane
03/28/2016 12:09 pm EDT
During an interview at the Radio City Music Hall red carpet for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, actress Diane Lane -- who plays Martha Kent in the film -- acknowledged that the movie isn't exactly light summer reading.
"It's not a break. It's not a reprieve," Lane admitted. "Where a lot of these films tend to be a vacay, the real world feels gentle after this film because if this stuff started to really happen, that wouldn't be cool. We would all be freaking out, and that's where this film takes us to."
