Captain Britain TV Series Rumored To Be In Development

Recent rumors around the internet have pegged the newest addition to the Marvel television universe as Captain Britain, but maybe we should slow the train down a bit.
The rumors stemmed from film poster artist and producer Ciara McAvoy sharing a tease via her twitter account, saying "For my 1000th Tweet: Who will be playing Brian Braddock in the upcoming tv series? Stay tune!" For those unfamiliar with her work, she has created art and posters for the recent Victor Frankenstein, X-Men: First Class, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. According to her she has been hired to do a promo poster for a Captain Britain TV show.
After she posted that tweet, she then posted a follow-up on March 22nd that said "I can't reveal anything yet but hopefully I'll be able to soon. Waiting for the go ahead from the co-producer." Later she added that Chris Lark and Eleni will be the producer and co-producer respectively. In a response to a twitter question, she mentioned that an official announcement wouldn't come until "either early 2017 or late 2016".
For Marvel's part, they have issued a standard no comment response in regards to Captain Britain, but it seems weird that something this big would just be out there like this without them having something else to say if it were true. Hopefully we'll hear something official about the show or an official debunk soon.
