Christian Bale Addresses Fan Theory That He's Playing Batman In Batman V. Superman

If it's on the internet it has to be true, right? Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.
Such is the case with a fan theory on the internet which claims Christian Bale of The Dark Knight trilogy will actually be playing Batman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice rather than Ben Affleck, who was officially cast in the film and has appeared in every trailer.
If you needed more proof that Bale is no longer Batman, he has now gone on record to shut down the theory. "I haven't heard that. This is the first I've heard of it," Bale told Yahoo when prompted about the internet's claim. "I think it's pretty clear that Ben [Affleck] is playing Batman now."
Just to really shut things down, Bale concluded, "No, it's not happening."
Ben Affleck is Batman. The end.
Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters March 25, 2016.
