David S. Goyer Talks about Seeing Batman v Superman

DC Entertainment and WB writer/producer extraordinaire David S. Goyer is currently promoting Da Vinci's Demons, but Collider took the opportunity to ask his opinion on Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice during a press tour for the show.
Goyer is the primary common denominator between the Nolan "Dark Knight" trilogy of films and the new era of a shared DC Universe, and he said the fact "that I got to be involved in two cinematic iterations of Batman is crazy." in the interview. Seeing the pair of heroes on the screen, he got "the kind of giddiness in being a kid that grew up going to the comic book store every Saturday and reading comic books in which these two epic characters clashed."
That "giddiness" was the prevailing feeling when the first footage debuted - just that short, 20 second teaser - at SDCC in 2014. Hall H exploded (I was there) at seeing Batman and Superman in live-action on one giant screen at the same time. Despite some fans reluctance for director Zack Snyder or issues with Man of Steel, it's hard for any comic book fan to not get that swell of excitement - and it's a good sign to know that a guy working on the film gets the same feeling.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters March 25, 2016. Don't forget to rate (it's just one click) Man of Steel above to show how you like this new DC Movie Universe so far.
