Dredd Producer Adi Shankar Wants To Remake Fantastic Four

Since the world has already deemed The Fantastic Four's reboot a failure, it seems that all that's left for the franchise is...a re-bootleg.
And Hollywood has just the man for the job. Adi Shankar, the producer behind 2012's Dredd film and this year's hardcore Power Rangers bootleg video, would love to take the Fantastic Four's reins out of Josh Trank's hands (and after this weekend, it might not be so difficult). Speaking to his fanbase over a Facebook Q&A session, Shankar revealed that he'd like to remake The Fantastic Four on the big screen.
But since Shankar's original declaration was fiendishly short, he decided to elaborate on his answer with a more detailed explanation. In his vision of a Fantastic Four remake, the X-Men (specifically, Professor X) would play a key role in Reed Richards' story.
So what do you think of Shankar's Fantastic Four vision? Does it sound better than the one currently in theaters? Let us know in the comments!
Fantastic Four opens everywhere this Friday.
